I just came across the following website called Edutopia: The George Lucas Educational Foundation site that has a lot of good information about educational technology in the public school system.
Thanks Gina for these great links! I checked out a few of the resources and unbelievably, I found a web video on the "tech integration" page that features my elementary school! One of the teachers, Mike Mueller, was teaching there was I was a kid. How cool is that. Here's the video in case you're interested:
How cool is that! Wow! What a great project! I sure wish I could take a group of our GED students on a field study trip!!! Maybe that's something to consider for the future...eh?
