Welcome to the Adult Education Technology Wiki!

This wiki site is for Adult Education teachers, staff, and volunteers who work with technology (and those who would like to start!).

This is a learning place.  Share your ideas, questions, and resources with colleagues near and far.  Learn about new technologies and how to implement them in your program.  Collaborate.  Stretch yourself.  Build capacity.  Strengthen the field.  Wiki wiki!

Click Pages & Files (in the upper right corner) to see everything that's been added so far.

Use the Navigator on the sidebar to find your way around the wiki.

If you are new to wikis and would like some help getting started, learn more on the Wikis page: Wikis and the How to use this wiki page.

A Professional Development calendar page has been created here: Adult Ed Tech Calendar.  If you know of upcoming PD events, please add them!

We need interested ABE professionals to contribute their ideas and resources to this wiki.  If you'd like to contribute, contact Susan to join the wiki!

This page has been viewed  times since July 31, 2008.

Thanks for starting this collaboration Susan. My teachers and I here in Washington DC will definitely contribute to this resource. I already looked at the classrooms2.0 site and found some great discussions.

Hey Susan Ryan, good to see your name. I'm glad you are still in the tech "loop." Take a look at my page in the About Us folder, and tell us what you are up to.

Hey Susan WB... I made a page and edited the sidebar. See you at Summer Institute.

Susan, did you know that pbwiki now allows you to change the color of your wiki? Go to settings.

I heard a great idea from Marlene Johnshoy of CARLA at University of MN: You can link a talking avatar on your classs wiki by going to www.voki.com and following the free directions.

Thanks for the comment Ava!
I have a Voki on my blog page at http://literacytechmn.blogspot.com if anyone would like to see an example.

I like your Voki better, as it has your voice. Mine is on my class Wiki at http://avaeslpage.pbworks.com.
