General info about Podcasts
Wikipedia defines podcast as: "a series of digital-media files which are distributed over the Internet using syndication feeds for playback on portable media players and computers. The term podcast, like broadcast, can refer either to the series of content itself or to the method by which it is syndicated; the latter is also called podcasting. The host or author of a podcast is often called a podcaster."
For an introduction to podcasting in plain English, watch this video from the Common Craft Show (www.commoncraft.com/show).
Podcasts in Adult Education
Here are two examples of podcasts for ESL learners: http://www.eslpod.com/website/ and http://www.englishthroughstories.com/scripts/scripts.html.
Teachers: do you have a favorite educational podcast? Please share it here!
This page is a stub: a page which is too short to provide extensive information on a subject, but not so short as to be useless. Stubs are great places for people in the wiki community to contribute their knowledge and ideas.
